       In order to enhance the sense of professional mission, responsibility, identity and honor of newly recruited counselors, help new counselors familiarize themselves with job requirements as soon as possible, adapt to role changes, and make career plans, on October 21, the Student Affairs Department (Division) was in the Lianxue Lecture Hall held the first lesson and career development and planning exchange meeting for new counselors in 2022. The meeting was presided over by the head of the Student Affairs Department, Yang Yusen, member of the school party committee, vice president, deputy secretary of the party branch of each secondary college, section chief of the student department, 10 newly recruited counselors attended the meeting.

      The first lesson of the new counselor's induction kicked off with the national anthem. The participants first watched the video Surrounding Students, Caring for Students and Serving Students - Student Work Documentary together. By watching the video, the new counselors have further deepened their intuitive understanding and understanding of the work of students in our school.

       Afterwards, 10 new counselors introduced themselves one by one, and exchanged their insights, gains and future career plans based on their work situations since joining BZU. In their exchange speeches, they expressed their love and yearning for the work of counselors, as well as their expectations and aspirations for the future career path, and at the same time formulated specific career development goals and implementation measures. They expressed that they would integrate into BZU, the academic team, and the students as soon as possible, to be a new era counselor with firm belief, dedication, warmth and love, and do their best to accompany students to grow and become talents.

       As a veteran who has worked on the academic front for 15 years, the head of the Student Section of the School of Humanities shared with three key words on his career: rooting down, persevering in learning, and always loving.

       I volunteer to be a college counselor and support the party's leadership. I will work hard to cultivate socialist qualified builders and reliable successors! 10 new counselors raised their right fists and took the oath of employment. Word by word, the solemn oath, sacred and heroic, is the promise they made to the counselor's work, and it is the source of strength that inspires them to remember their original aspiration, be diligent and pragmatic, and pioneer and innovate in the position of counselor.

       In the first lesson, Yang Yusen presented new counselors with sunflower bouquets that symbolize sunshine, warmth, vigor, vitality and hope. He hoped that everyone would warm the hearts of students with warm love, bring sunshine and vitality to students, and become students. A close friend and life mentor who accompanies students to grow up.

       The director of the Student Affairs Department presented the Compilation of Documents on Strengthening and Improving College Students' Ideological and Political Education, Excellent Counselor's Demeanor, Crisis Management Guidance and Practice for Campus Students in the New Era and Counselor to new counselors Work Record Book to encourage new counselors to strengthen their studies, familiarize themselves with and adapt to the work as soon as possible, and continuously improve their comprehensive quality and professional ability.

       At the exchange meeting, Yang Yusen fully affirmed the important contributions made by our school's counselor team in the development of the school's career. On behalf of the school's party committee and administration, he extended a sincere welcome to all new counselors. The high-spirited and uplifting mental outlook is highly praised. Yang Yusen put forward four hopes and requirements to the new counselors: First, continue to strengthen their studies, clarify job requirements, do a good job in development planning, and determine their original aspirations for their careers; Take responsibility and sharpen your skills; the third is to strengthen ideological self-cultivation, cultivate moral sentiment, abide by the bottom line of law and discipline, and lay a solid foundation for the career; the fourth is to obey organizational leadership, be good at unity and cooperation, take the initiative to coordinate and cooperate, gather the own growth momentum. Yang Yusen emphasized that the Student Affairs Department (Department) and all secondary colleges should strengthen the work guidance and comprehensive training of new counselors to help them grow into ideological and political education, daily affairs management, career planning and employment guidance for college students as soon as possible, mental health education, crisis response and disposal experts, to make more and better contributions to school development.

       The first lesson and the career development and exchange meeting for new counselors to enter the office aims to further strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission of our school counselor team, guide new counselors to enter their roles as soon as possible, and better perform their positions. Responsibilities, continuously improve the counselors' sense of professional belonging and educating mission, help new counselors to make a good progress, open a good chapter, and start a good start on the new journey ofmorality and cultivating people, and help the high-quality development of school students.
