In order to implement the spirit of the 2023 conference of “Focusing on Pursuing Development and Demonstrating Women’s Responsibility” to commemorate the 113th anniversary of the International Women’s Day on March 8th, actively respond to the initiative issued by the conference, promote the physical and mental health of female faculty members and promote the in-depth development of national fitness activities, on the afternoon of March 14th, Labor Union (Commission for Women) held a female faculty fast walking activity of “Pursuing Development and Moving Forward” in the track and field stadium and the outer ring road of Binzhou University. Li Jifeng, member of the University Party Committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and supervisor of the Provincial Supervision Commission in Binzhou University, attended and announced the start of the event. Lin Xiaojin, member of the Party Committee and Minister of United Front Work, attended the event.
With the command of Li Jifeng and the guidance of the missionary worker, more than 520 participating female faculty members enthusiastically and energetically started the 3-kilometer fast walking. The water of Juying Lake is rippling with blue waves, the tender willows on the roadside reveal green, the colorful flowers compete with each other, the tranquil campus is full of sound of reading, and the scenery in spring is breathtaking. The participants were all energetic and in high spirits, walking along the outer ring road of the campus, breathing fresh air and enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, while marching to catch up and surpass each other, experiencing the charm of fast walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the campus. Everyone’s face was full of confident smile, and everyone chatted and laughed all the way, talking about work and family life. Some took out their mobile phones and took photos while walking to record the beautiful scene, and some have devoted themselves to communication and talking freely about interesting stories about their studies, work and life. The vigorous posture and colorful scenery complement each other, forming a beautiful scenery line of the campus and an atmosphere of pursuing, surpassing and advocating health, and the competition was ended in happy laugher.
Through this activity, all enjoyed themselves, relaxed their mood, exercised their bodies, improved the communication, and displayed the positive spiritual outlook of teaching staff. All expressed their desire to accompany, strengthen their physical fitness, forge ahead in unity, be brave in competing for the first place, and they will devote themselves to their work with a healthy physique and abundant energy, transform the enthusiasm and passion unleashed by sports into a strong motivation to do a good job, enter the new period of the development of Binzhou University with fuller spirit, create new achievements and contribute to the implementation of the university’s work tone of “pursuing development” and building a high-level applied university with distinctive aviation characteristics.
