On the afternoon of June 18th, Gong Xinjun, Party Committee member and Vice President, hosted a key work and project coordination meeting for the departments under his charge and contact in 4-201 Room of Flying College. The meeting was attended by deputy division-level and above leaders of the departments under his charge and the party and administrative heads under his contact.
At the meeting, Gong Xinjun focused on the school’s “1+1655” and “6+1” annual key tasks, the three-year action plan for high-quality development of ten high-standard constructions and the performance appraisal indicators for high-quality development of provincial undergraduate colleges. Combining the core key indicators in the school’s three major breakthrough tasks of “achieving provincial and bureau co-construction” “upgrading to an aeronautical and astronautical university” and “initiating the construction of doctoral degree authorization”, he conducted research and guidance on the progress of work in the departments under his charge and contact. The heads of departments such as the Admissions and Employment Office, the Cooperation Development Office (Alumni Association Secretariat), the Engineering Training Center, and the Industry-Education Integration Company, as well as the heads of Flying College and College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, reported on the progress of their work.
Gong Xinjun gave full recognition to the achievements of each unit in the key work and key projects and had an in-depth exchange with the heads of the units on the practical problems encountered in the work. He emphasized that the departments under his charge and contact should set their sights on the goals, concentrate their efforts, tighten and implement work responsibilities, and effectively promote the implementation of annual key target tasks. They should focus on priorities, grasp the key points of task completion, and comprehensively promote the progress of work. They should take the initiative to take on responsibilities, tackle difficulties, be good at solving problems in development with a problem-solving mindset, and strive to implement key tasks with high standards and quality, accelerating the construction of a high-level applied university with distinctive aviation characteristics.
