On October 14th, Cathy McGrane (Li Shuying), Chairman of Ruitu International Professional Development Center, and Rebeekah Lyons, President of the Portobello School of Ireland, visited the school. Li Changhai, secretary of the school, and the party committee member and vice president Li Weinian warmly received visitors in the meeting room 209 of the North Office Building.
Li Changhai expressed his warm welcome to Cathy McGrane and hier delegation. The basic situation and future development plan of the school were introduced from the aspects of school history, development ideas, development goals, discipline layout, aviation connotation construction and international exchange. He hopes that the two sides will seize the development opportunities brought about by the Belt and Road construction, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and write a new chapter of mutual benefit and win-win.
Cathy McGrane introduced the basic situation of the Ruitu International Professional Development Center and stated that it would further build an international talent training platform to make positive contributions to the educational cooperation between the two sides. Rebeekah Lyons introduced the basic situation of the Portobello Academy in Ireland and hopes to strengthen the joint training and student exchange with our school.
Li Weinian and Cathy McGrane conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on cooperation in aviation professional qualifications and international airborne class exchange programs, reached a cooperation intention, and signed a letter of intent for cooperation.
Cathy McGrane and his team also visited the campus of our school and exchanged ideas with some teachers and students of the flight school. The Academic Affairs Office, the Admissions and Employment Division, the head of the Flying College, and the relevant personnel of the International Exchange and Cooperation Division participated in related activities.
