Recently, the “National Higher Education Smart Education Platform” was officially launched. Our school's Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Modern Etiquette and Peace of Mind and Introduction to Aviation were the first batch of 88 online courses to be used in the platform. It marks that the construction level of our school's high-quality curriculum resources has reached a new level.
The platform is national and launched by the higher education system to earnestly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on education and construction of digital China, based on the national strategy and responding to the needs of the times. The first batch of 20,000 online courses will be launched, covering 92 majors in 13 university disciplines. The selected courses are with high quality, wide sharing scope, good application and strong demonstration effect.
In recent years, the University has adhered to the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people, fully implemented the concept of student-centered, output-oriented, and continuously improved the curriculum system around training goals and graduation requirements. A series of course construction documents such as course quality improvement and improvement plan, and course ideological and political construction plan. Those plans have been issued to support teachers in building online course resources, improve course quality, promote the co-construction and sharing of course resources. The in-depth integration of information technology and education and teaching promotes the reform of diversified teaching models based on online courses. Create a national, provincial and school-level five-category first-class curriculum system, cultivate and build 107 high-quality online courses, 45 school-level first-class undergraduate courses, 25 provincial-level first-class undergraduate courses, and 2 national-level first-class undergraduate courses.
In the next step, the University will launch the platform as an opportunity to do a better job in the establishment, construction and application of online open courses, vigorously cultivate high-quality courses. Large online courses, continue to explore and promote the deep integration of modern information technology and education and teaching, continue to innovate course application models, build a new classroom teaching ecology based on Internet + teaching, promote the reform of education and teaching models, and drive classroom revolution.
