On May 23rd, on the occasion of the sixth National Science and Technology Workers Day, Song Yongxiang, Secretary of the Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, accompanied by Ding Feng, Member of the Standing Committee of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary General, visited our school and the scientific and technological workers. Song Yongxiang first expressed his greetings to Hu Bo, member of the party committee and vice president of our school, and Xia Jiangbao, deputy director of the Shandong Yellow River Delta Ecological Environment Key Laboratory, vice president and professor of the School of Biological and Environmental Engineering. He emphasized that it is necessary to anchor the goal of strengthening the quality of scientific and technological innovation, sincerely care for and scientific and technological talents with good service and sincere respect. Subsequently, Song Yongxiang investigated the Shandong Yellow River Delta Ecological Environment Key Laboratory to learn more about the introduction of laboratory talents, scientific research innovation, and achievement transformation. He pointed out that the laboratory should seize the strategic opportunity of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Delta, combine the local features of Binzhou, realize the organic combination of theory and practice, and transform more achievements into the land of Binzhou. At the same time, it is necessary to accelerate the pace of going out, strengthen cooperation with foreign scientific research institutes and universities, realize collaborative innovation, convert more scientific research achievements into real productivity, and make contributions to the overall management of landscapes, forests, fields, lakes and grasslands.
Song Yongxiang also went to the 147 Maintenance Training Center of the Flight Academy to investigate and learn about the center's integration of production and education and personnel training. He hoped that the school should focus on the development needs of local industries, strengthen cooperation with enterprises, do a good job in the integration of production and education, further cultivate students' practical ability, and realize a higher level of prosperous and strong Binzhou construction.
