On November 12, the 77th Taishan Science and Technology Forum-Yellow River Delta National Academic Symposium on Ecological Protection and Carbon Neutrality was successfully held in our school, sponsored by Shandong Science and Technology Association, and hosted by our school’s Key Laboratory of Yellow River Delta Ecological Environment., the forum adopts a combination of online and offline methods. Yang Yusen, member of the Party committee and vice president of our school, and the person in charge of the scientific research department attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
In his speech, Yang Yusen extended a warm welcome to the leaders and experts present at the meeting, and introduced the basic situation of our school, especially the school's advantageous and characteristic discipline - ecology. He pointed out that the school faces the major national strategic needs of Yellow River Basin Ecological Protection and High-quality Development and Carbon Peak Carbon Neutralization, strives to improve the quality of ecology discipline construction, and lays a good foundation for applying for a master's program in ecology. Influence and scale are growing day by day. The holding of this symposium will surely bring together wisdom and inspire inspiration, better unite and cooperate, promote innovation, and better promote the development of the discipline of ecology. Wetland protection and restoration have a positive impact on the development and contribute to the implementation of my country's carbon peak and carbon neutral goals.
