On February 28th, the Ministry of Education held the second dispatch videoconferencing of the nationwide college graduates’ employment 2023. Guo Xinwen- the member of the party committee and vice president of our university, head of career guidance section in each school, instructors of the graduating classes and all the staff of the recruitment and employment office attended the videoconferencing.
The purposes of the conference were to implement the Party’s 20th National Congress principles thoroughly, to implement the arrangements of ensuring employment by the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council, to seize the critical period of employment in the spring term and to promote the early employment of the college graduates.
Sun Haibo, director of the university student department of the Ministry of Education, stated the important significance of college students’ employment and analyzed the severe and complicated employment situation. Accordingly, seven aspects of college students’ employment were required, including opening up market-oriented employment channels, playing the absorbing role of policy-based jobs, providing good employment guidance services, taking precise measures to help the people with employment requirements, simplifying employment procedure, improving employment feedback mechanism and strengthening the organization and leadership of employment work.
Wu Aihua, vice director of the university student department of the Ministry of Education, announced the recent conditions of the employment work and made specific demands for the spring employment promotion actions, including visiting corporations, launching recruitment activities, online services sharing of 24365 campus network recruitment services, launching thematic educational activities and helping the key groups.
After the conference, Guo Xinwei made three requirements. Firstly, we should raise the political position with good learning, reporting and implementing of the conference spirit. We need to make a good report to the leaders of the college, carry out group research, complete the work thoughts, define the work measures clearly and make great effort to the organization and implementation on the basis of understanding the spirit of the videoconferencing. Secondly, we should grasp the key period of spring enrollment and implement the objective of graduate employment work to ensure the graduate employment statistics and implementation of graduate employment work objectives with the persistence of goal orientation, need orientation, accurate strategy, satisfying service, improving working efficiency and strengthening working results. Thirdly, we should take actions quickly and make detailed working program to promote the high-quality employment of the graduate of 2023 through clear tasks, responsibility for each person, detailed measures and the adoption of various kinds of measures.
