On June 25, College of Chemical Engineering and Safety held the first sharing meeting of “Happy Reading” for the faculty in Lixue Lecture hall. All faculty members participated in the activity.
This activity mainly consists of three parts, that is, sharing reading experiences, recitation and games. In the reading sharing section, two deputy deans shared their experiences of reading the book of Three Days to See and the historical development of reading, and recommended two books of The Three-body Problem and One Hundred Years of Solitude for everyone to read and exchange their reading experience. The deputy secretary of the Party branch shared his own reading experience during his growth. With the coming of the Party’s birthday, members of the college’s general party branch, party branch secretary and branch committee also gave a heartfelt recitation, gradually pushing the activity to a climax. The teachers recited articles such as Let’s Read China and For Faith with sincerity, expressing the loyalty to the Party, love for the motherland and nostalgia for the revolutionary predecessors. All expressed that they will cherish the happy life made by revolutionary martyrs with their blood and lives, firmly grasp the overall requirements of the Theme Education of “learning ideas, strengthening Party spirit, valuing practice and making new achievements” at the new starting point of the new era, solidly do all work well and work together to promote the development. The interactive part of the game adopted the method of drumming and passing the flower. The teachers who received the flowers answered the historical questions related to Binzhou City, and those who answered correctly received souvenirs. At the same time, the college also prepared a handbag for each teacher to carry teaching materials.
This activity greatly stimulated the reading enthusiasm of all the teachers, promoted the communication and exchanges and laid a good foundation for the future development of reading and exchange activities
