On September 8th, as the 39th Teachers’ Day approaching, Li Changhai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binzhou University, President Li Weinian and Vice President Liu Baomin, visited the teacher representatives, extending the best wishes and sincere greetings to them as well as all the other teaching staff.
The university leaders led relevant department directors to visit College of Electrical Engineering, College of Art and College of Aviation Engineering, meeting Professor Li Hongwei, Professor Li Jianjun and Associate Professor Guo Ruichao, etc. The leaders and teacher representatives had a friendly conversation, inquired in detail about their teaching, scientific research and living conditions, fully recognized their hard work over the years, and congratulated on their achievements. While extending holiday blessings, the leaders hoped they could promote the spirit of educators, establish moralities and cultivate talents, and focus on cultivating more high-level applied talents who could participate in national construction. The leaders also hoped they could pay attention to strengthening the construction of disciplinary teams, playing a leading role in model demonstration, and striving to achieve more landmark achievements to serve economic and social development. The teacher representatives expressed sincere gratitude for the university’s care and support, and expressed their determination to continue working hard to cultivate talents and set good examples so as to make more contributions to the cause of high-quality development of Binzhou University.
Before and after Teachers’ Day, Binzhou University also made a plan with the theme of “making contributions to the cause of education and strong country” for the celebration of Teachers’ Day. Series of activities were carried out for the celebration such as theoretical learning, model teachers selection and recognition, taking oaths, teachers’ screen lighting activities, theme education of “remembering Teachers’ care and kindness”, and education month of teachers’ ethics construction so as to further create a good atmosphere of respecting knowledge, talents and teachers, celebrate a grand, enthusiastic, pragmatic and frugal holiday, inspire the enthusiasm and creativity of teachers and staff to love their work, selflessly make contributions, set good examples, establish moralities and cultivate talents and make new and greater contributions to deepening the comprehensive reform of the education, promoting the distinctive, high-quality, and outstanding development of Binzhou University and promoting the scientific development of the cause of education.
