As the 114th International Women’s Day approaches, Yellow River Delta Ecological Environment Protection Research and Innovation Team in Shandong University of Aeronautics was honored by the Shandong Provincial Women’s Federation as the prestigious title “Shandong Provincial March 8th Red Flag Collective”.
In accordance with the positioning requirement of “taking the lead in ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin”,the team has been conducting in-depth scientific researches on wetland protection and restoration, soil pollution prevention and control, saline-alkali land utilization and restoration, etc.
The team has made significant contributions to major national strategies and addressing regional needs such as the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, fully demonstrating the leading role of women and showcasing the responsibility and dedication of female researchers.
It is reported that in order to commend the exemplary individuals, set examples, lead and inspire women across Shandong province to advance with the Party in the new journey and make contributions in the new era, Shandong Province Women’s Federation conducted an advanced selection in the whole province. Only two universities within the provincial higher education system have been honored with this award.
