On April 27, the delegation led by Mr. Leandro DI DOMENICO, Head of International Relations of the French ICAM Strasbourg-European Engineering School, and Mr. Chen Yue, Director of the Confucius Institute of Alsace, visit our school for exchange and cooperation.
Li Weinian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of our university, met with the French delegation in Room 201, extending a warm welcome to the guests and expressing hopes for closer ties, deepened friendship, high-level exchanges, and cooperation for mutual benefit and common development.
Guo Xinwei, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President, held in-depth discussions with the delegation in Room 209. Heads from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Graduate School, School of Aeronautics Engineering, and School of Economics and Management attended the meeting.
Guo Xinwei introduced our university’s history, characteristics, discipline construction, faculty development, talent cultivation, and international exchanges and cooperation. Leandro DI DOMENICO presented the advantages of the French ICAM Education Group and the ICAM Strasbourg-European Engineering School in disciplines, talent training models, and internationalization. Chen Yue introduced the teaching characteristics and operation of the Confucius Institute of Alsace and other Confucius Institutes in France. The three parties engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on student and faculty exchanges, joint graduate education, international scientific research cooperation, international Chinese language education, and the study of Sun Tzu’s Art of War, reaching cooperation intentions.
After the meeting, the French delegation visited our university’s flight simulation laboratory of Flying College, air traffic management laboratory and other teaching and training platforms.
